JaMuz Android
An Android Audio Player and also a Remote for JaMuz Desktop.
Installation
- Get F-Droid and install it.
- Open F-Droid, search for
JaMuz
and install it.
OR and install it, but you will not get updates!

- Select a playlist on JaMuz, connect JaMuz Remote sync, and wait for your files.

JaMuz Desktop
A music library manager, player and more, for Linux, Raspberry and Windows.
Installation
- Install Java (OpenJDK JRE) >=17
- Windows: Eclipse Temurin OpenJDK17U-jre_x64_windows (Pick .msi)
- Linux Debian based (Ubuntu, Mint,…): openjdk-17-jre
- Raspberry: Deb installation on Debian or Ubuntu, or in brief:

- Note: 7z is natively supported on most linux distributions and since October, 31, 2023 on Windows 11 too (with update KB5031455). Otherwise, you need to install 7-zip.
- Only Raspberry : You will need to manually install dependencies (as raspberry does not support apt:// by default):

Features
Sync data between audio players
Sync your tracks’ rating, custom tags, BPM, genre and statistics (last played, play counter and added date) between JaMuz Desktop and your favorite players:
- Guayadeque (Linux)

Sync files to devices
- Select a playlist and a destination (Phone, USB Key/HDD, MP3 player, …).
- Process deletes unwanted files on destination then copy new files.
Sync with JaMuz Android
- Using JaMuz Android, you can combine both above features, but over WiFi.
- You can also remote control JaMuz Desktop audio player.
Manage, Organize and Convert
- Get tracks metadata and covers from MusicBrainz, last.fm and Cover Art Archive.
- Detect duplicates.
- Compute ReplayGain (MP3 and FLAC).
- Convert files using JAVE (Java Audio Video Encoder)
- Rename files and folders with tracks metadata and a mask (ex: “%albumartist%/%album%/%track% %title%”).
